Hi everyone,
This is Fumi Yamazaki of Joi Ito's lab.
I'm doing the project manager of a bunch of projects of the lab,
my primary focus for the last couple of weeks had been the New Context Conference 2007
which we planned, organized and just finished on 9/25-26.

We had great speakers such as Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia,
Reid Hoffman, founder of LinkedIn, Chris Alden who just became the CEO of Six Apart,
Ashwin Navin, founder of Bit Torrent, Scott Fisher, a professor at USC,
Brock Purpura, CEO of Etology, Yat Siu, CEO of Outblaze
and Monorom and Silvan from Etoy, and Timo, director of the CC licensed film "Star Wreck"
... just to mention the speakers from overseas.
Thanks to all who accepted our offer to speak for the conference,
to all of the audience who came to the venue,
and all of the sponsors and staffs who made this conference a great success.
I've been getting lots of requests to upload the videos of the conference,
so I'll be working on that- and make the video Created Commons licensed
for the videos of the speakers whom accepted their videos to be uploaded that way.
To all who are uploading your photos, videos, etc:
Please tag them with "ncctokyo2007".

This is the blog for Joi Ito's lab. We don't have a design or a logo yet, but we've got some content. Lets go ahead and get started and work on the design and various features as we go.
We'll post about various projects that we're working on our our members are working on here and hopefully it will help us keep track of everything.
